How do you market your services to your clients?

Do you describe them from your perspective or theirs?

 

Here’s the thing…

Your clients probably aren’t thinking of their needs in your words.  As such, you really should market them using their words.

 

Your description for a service might be, “we’ll generate financial reports for your business”.

When what they really want is probably something closer to, “we’ll tell you if your business is performing well and if your margins are healthy or low”.

 

Describe your services from their perspective, not yours.
