It took over 200 years for previous industrial revolutions to adopt automation. That’s a relatively long period of adjustment.
Intelligent Automation (IA) appears to be following a VERY different path. Here’s how I know:
- 86% of global business leaders believe they need to adopt IA to stay competitive
- IA already has an adoption rate over 50%
- The adoption rate is expected to be over 70% in just in the next two years
The term Intelligent Automation was only coined in 2017 by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, pronounced “I triple E”).
All of this means that IA could see universal adoption in less than 5 years. That’s a remarkable rate of adoption.
What does this mean for your firm?
If you haven’t started adopting Intelligent Automation already then your firm is already behind.
